Gameplay Giraffes makes small, free browser games and posts videos on YouTube. This page explains, plainly, what happens to your information when you visit gameplaygiraffes.com. The short version: we don't collect it.

We don't collect personal information

There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no forms. We never ask for your name, email address, or any other personal detail, and we have no way to identify you.

Your game data stays on your device

Our games remember things like your best scores, your play statistics, your sound setting, and which savanna animals you've encountered. This is saved using your browser's local storage — a small space inside your own browser, on your own device.

• This data never leaves your browser and is never sent to us or anyone else.
• We cannot see it, and it isn't linked to your identity.
• You can erase it at any time — each game has a reset option, the stats page has "Reset all stats," and clearing your browser's site data removes it completely.

No cookies, no ads, no cross-site tracking

We do not use cookies. We do not show advertising, and there are no third-party trackers, pixels, or embedded widgets on the site. Nothing here follows you around the web or builds a profile of you.

Hosting and basic analytics

The site is delivered through Cloudflare (a reverse proxy and content-delivery network) and hosted on DigitalOcean. Like every website, these providers automatically process basic technical information — such as your IP address and browser type — to serve the pages to you and keep the site secure.

Cloudflare also provides us with simple, aggregate website analytics — figures like how many pages were viewed and roughly which countries visitors came from. These measurements are cookieless and aggregate: they aren't used to identify you personally, and they don't track you across other websites.

Links to other sites

The site links out to places like our YouTube channel and social media profiles. Once you follow a link, you're on that company's website, and their own privacy policies — not this one — apply. We don't control those services.

Children

Our games are family-friendly and suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the site works — for example, if we add cookies, personalized analytics, or advertising in the future — we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date above before doing so.
